Will my phone work?
Your phone needs to support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked.
Quickest check: iPhone › Settings › Cellular › look for Add eSIM. Android › Settings › Connections or Network › SIMs › look for Add eSIM.

Does a Macau eSIM work in mainland China too?
No. Macau plans are valid in Macau only, and our China plans are valid in mainland China only. If you cross into Zhuhai or travel on into mainland China, add a China eSIM at checkout, or choose Greater China from $11.90: one eSIM for mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.
I'm visiting Macau from Hong Kong. Which plan should I get?
For a Hong Kong and Macau trip you can buy a Hong Kong eSIM and a Macau eSIM together: Hong Kong 5GB at $9.90 and Macau 5GB at $9.90. Or choose Greater China from $11.90: one eSIM, one install and one data allowance across Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China. Each option lasts 30 days.
Can I use hotspot on a Macau plan?
Hotspot is listed as supported on our mainland China plans. Macau, Hong Kong and Greater China plans don't list it, so we don't promise it. If you need to share data with a laptop or a travel partner, email 24/7 support at support@haalaan.com before you buy.
Can I top up if I run out?
Not on Macau plans today. Top-ups are only available on our mainland China data plans. Top-ups are non-refundable. If you run out, you can buy a new plan. Macau 5GB has more room than Macau 3GB, and both last 30 days. If you're unsure which to choose, 24/7 support can help.
What is your refund policy?
Full refund if not installed, within 30 days of purchase. Installed eSIMs are never refunded. Ask for a refund by email at support@haalaan.com, and the money goes back to your original payment method. If you bought more than one eSIM in a checkout, each one is refunded on its own. Will I get a Macau phone number?
No. Macau plans are data only and don't include a phone number. Keep your US SIM on for calls and texts, and use WhatsApp, FaceTime or other apps over data. Your Macau eSIM's 30 days start when it first connects, so you can install it at home before you travel.
